I am an associate professor in clinical neuropsychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Amsterdam. My research focuses on the clinical, cognitive, and neurobiological pathways of complex developmental and psychiatric conditions, with a particular interest in the autism-psychosis spectrum and social behaviour.

I study how vulnerability and resilience develop from childhood through adulthood, and what shapes the transition to clinical disorders during critical developmental periods. To do this, I draw on methods ranging from expert consensus studies and clinical prediction models to advanced neuroimaging. My aim is to translate neuropsychological insights into better clinical assessments and more targeted interventions. You can find an overview of my current and past projects on the projects page.

Alongside research, I teach within the Clinical Neuropsychology program at the UvA and serve as treasurer of the Dutch Society for Neuropsychology  (NVN, site in Dutch only). Beyond the science itself, I care about ethics, open science, collaboration, and supporting young talent in my work.
